High School Options
Elizabeth Andrews High School (a DeKalb County School)
Students enrolling at Elizabeth Andrews High School must be at least 16 years of age and have earned enough credits to be promoted to the 10th grade. Students must schedule an appointment with his/her assigned counselor at McNair High School at least two days prior to registering at Elizabeth Andrews High School. The parent must accompany the student for the appointment at McNair High School and when you register your student at Elizabeth Andrews High School. Please note that current students that are eligible to attend Elizabeth Andrews High School must receive a registration packet from his/her assigned counselor at McNair prior to registering at Elizabeth Andrews High School.

This option requires that the student is withdrawn from McNair High School to attend Elizabeth Andrews High School. The student must provide his/her own transportation.
DeKalb High School High School of Technology-South (a DeKalb County School)
DeKalb High School of Technology - South (DHST-S) is an accredited career and technology focused high school. The school service students from thirteen (13) DeKalb County School District feeder schools. DHST-S offer the following programs:

Students that are interested in attending DeKalb High School of Technology should meet with his/her assigned counselor at McNair High School. Registration is usually completed one year prior to enrollment during the academic advisement process for the upcoming year. The programs at DHST-S are year long and the students must begin in August and follow through with completion of the program through the end of the year in May. Students will not be enrolled in DHST-S in January as this is the middle of the course/program.
This option does require that the student is cross-enrolled and does not require the student to withdraw from McNair High School. Transportation is provided by the DeKalb County School District.
FLEX Academy (a DeKalb County Online School)
FLEX Academy is the DeKalb County School District’s virtual learning experience. High school students will be able to enroll in online core and elective classes, that meet the school’s motto: flexible learning with excellence. FLEX Academy offers virtual courses to meet every learner's needs. Below you will find a brief description of the various virtual learning formats.
FLEX During the Day
Students must see his/her assigned McNair High School counselor in order to register for FLEX Academy.
FLEX Beyond the Day
This option requires that students are cross-enrolled and will not have to withdraw from McNair High School.

- Current Georgia Immunization Certificate (Form 3231)-Students will not be accepted with expired immunizations!
- Ear, Eye & Dental Certificate (Form 3300)

- Proof of Residence within the last 30 days, verifying he/she lives in the DeKalb County School District. Examples: Natural Gas, Georgia Power Company, or a current apartment lease showing parent name and address

- Student takes full-credit courses during the school day as part of their daily schedule at McNair High School.
- Once registered, students report to a location designated by the local school during specified periods to access the virtual course.
- FLEX During the Day courses are taught by certified teachers.
- Although flexible pacing is available to meet diverse learning needs, all content, activities and assessments must be completed in full credit courses.
- All courses must be approved by the local school through the student advisement process. No cost will be incurred by parents/guardians to register for FLEX During the Day.
Students must see his/her assigned McNair High School counselor in order to register for FLEX Academy.
FLEX Beyond the Day
- Students take courses beyond the school day.
- Once registered, it is recommended that the students set aside a designated time and location to complete their virtual course outside of school.
- FLEX Beyond the Day courses are taught by certified teachers.
- Although flexible pacing is available to meet diverse learning needs, all content, activities, and assessments must be completed.
- There is a tuition cost to register for FLEX Beyond the Day courses that is covered by the parent or guardian of the student.
- Tuition- $500.00 per 1.00 credit course/ $250.00 per .50 credit courses
- Tuition can be paid online by clicking the "Pay Now" button at the bottom of this page or at FLEX Academy Administrative Office by appointment only.
